I first picked up a camera in 2006 when I left my home in New Zealand to travel the world. I wanted to document my travels not only for myself but to show my friends and family how beautiful the world is. I see patterns, shapes and emotions everywhere I go, the challenge is capturing photos for others to view the world through my lens.

I started by photographing travel, landscapes and animals but quickly fell in love with the beauty and vibrancy I found in photographing people. I like adventures, new experiences and tackling unusual challenges. I found my niche in family and wedding photography because it includes all the things that motivate me, it’s also an opportunity to meet new and interesting people, every day. What could be better than working with happy people while doing the thing you love?

I have recently settled not far from Edinburgh in the beautiful coastal village of Aberdour, Fife with my own wee family, my parter Fiona and Cockapoo puppy Ogee. Even though my brother and wider family live half way round the world, we have our share of online banter and support each other, I know they will be there when I need them. I can’t wait for the next chapter in our real life family adventures.
